Valley House believes everyone should have the chance to live a happy and fulfilling life.
We work with disadvantaged individuals and families in and around Coventry.
Our services help people struggling with issues such as homelessness, depression and unemployment to get their lives back together, become independent and look forward to a brighter future.
We provide tailored services to young parents and victims of domestic abuse / domestic violence, helping them feel safe by providing safe accommodation and 1 to 1 and group work support.
We can also provide court support for those involved in the criminal justice system, emotional support through counselling and practical help when people are ready to move on into their own homes.
Valley House Community Wellbeing Service continues to be able to accept referrals for the support we provide as part of Accelerate. Due to COVID-19 we are not able to provide face-to-face appointments, but we are flexible in how support is offered.
Support is tailored to the needs of the individual and includes by phone, text, email or video calling.
- Support is offered to participants experiencing difficulties with:
Long term illness
Practical issues including; housing, benefits, finances, physical health issues.
To access Accelerate support with Valley House, you must be an Accelerate participant, if you are over 19 and live in Coventry and Warwickshire, Valley House can support you with your mental health whilst you work with a Journey Guide to address other barriers towards getting back to work.
